An easy way to kill the Totems is to Toxic them, just knock down the disguise turn one and then Toxic turn 2 then Toxic it turn 3 cause it has a Lum berry, then stall out the fight. Puts the fight on a timer.

Question about SOS battles: when a Pokemon calls for help, what are the probabilities of calling a Pokemon from a certain slot. For example, I was trying to catch a Snorlax on Route 1. Munchlax calls it from Slot 2, and calls Happiny from Slot 6. The other slots are more Munchlax. Are the slot numbers arbitrary? The page on Serebii implied that the called slot is chosen at random, but I've only run into 1 Happiny and over 50 Munchlax, and no Snorlax.

Take advantage of every time it offers you to groom your pokemon after battle. It'll get rid of status affects automatically, and does a lot to boost affection.

At higher levels of affection, it'll boost the amount of exp they get from battles, and sometimes they'll endure hits that otherwise would've knocked them out, get extra critical hits, and even just straight-up dodge attacks.

Keep in mind Affection isn't Friendship. You can stroke Munchlax's dick until he's a dried up little husk and it won't make it evolve any faster.

But yes, if you have the time to dedicate to Refresh you should do it. Free Focus Sashes, crits, and status cures are absurdly useful. The Focus Sash can even trigger two turns in a row.

I don't know about the Poni areas but in Route 8 it's not in the grass, it's an actual 3D model that you have to chase and interact with. It's in that little rocky area in the west. Surf around and catch it from behind or it'll hide in its hole.

So was the golem ultra mega fuck you explosion via Z power a meme? I can do it normally to sucide and it's fine but someone has said you can convert it to just a huge fucking base power Z move. You don't judge viability by BST. There are a lot more factors involved. If you're talking in-game then it doesn't matter at all. You could get by with the first six Pokemon you find.

Again, you could use literally any team you want and you'll probably do fine. You should try to have good type coverage and a mix of physical and special attackers but other than that its a free-for-all.
