I'll explain it to you.
Prior to the remakes, there was a vast majority of people who loved the Hoenn region and looked forward to the remakes.
The remakes came and it didn't have one thing that people wanted most: Battle Frontier.

This flaw made everyone fucking explode into the most autistic foot stomping rage you'll ever witness in the history of 4chan, and so they ignore all of OR/AS's merits because they don't have more than one RNG battle facility to play in anymore.

This paired with 4chan's insatiable desire to belittle everything and the obsession to call things you may like shit mean it's regarded as the worst because it gets the "best" reaction.
You see, they don't care if they're wrong as long as they can make you disagree, this makes them feel a bit of a rush because you replied to them.

OR/AS are the best pokemon games to date, I believe.
