I liked Shauna, her animations were cute. Can't remember the left two.

Serena was an okay rival. I could feel like I was the asshole rival that got in her way in the relationship instead of her.

It isn't their personalities that are the problem, It's that there are three of them. Hau seems very similar to Shauna to me, but he's the only one that hows up regularly, so I can have undivided attention. If only one of the Rivals existed in XY, it would probably be more bearable.
