loads of setup options to be good, but none of which he can do better than say, Dragonite or Hydreigon.

DDance is probably his most reliable set, he'll be faster and a little bulkier than Dragonite, but doesn't have the setup potential that multiscale gives Dragonite.

He can also run a mean choice specs set on the special side, but the speed is more of an issue here.

Belly Drum is your big high risk/ultimate reward set, if you're a betting man go for it.

I'll stick to Ddance though, between 2 STAB's and poison jab for fairy coverage, he does the job well enough to warrant use on a serious team.

It's by unofficial rule that Pseudo's have to be 4x weak to something, Garchomp, Dragonite, and Salamence are 4x weak to ice, T-tar's weakness is fighting, and now both Hydreigon and Kommo-o are weak to fairy.

Hydreigon still carries on well enough despite getting rocked by fairies, kommo-o is no different, except he does get poison jab for the coverage.

Everyone thought that Haxorus would be Uber but ended as a UU flop in BW metagame. Kommo-o is basically Haxorus, Haxorus can overcompensate the lack of STAB with 140 ATK and Superpower, also with faster Speed for DD.

It's shit, like I've been saying it all depended on its speed being higher than 98. It not getting Close Combat also hurt him a lot.
HOWEVER, apparently in the battle tree there's one with Shell Smash, if this is an indicator of it getting it eventually then I can see him being top tier in OU.
