That won't be a problem, it has Recover and I have 200+ Leppa berries.
That and some of the Trapinch will have Arena Trap.
They have a 255 catch rate anyway so I won't even attempt to harm the shiny that appears, I'll just huck Luxury Balls.

I wish I was in this situation, Salandit is cool and so is its shiny, but that waifushit is the worst abomination in the franchise.

Cute Charm is one of many abilities with a field effect.
When a male Pokémon with Cute Charm leads the party, 66.7% of wild encounters will be female, or vice versa.
This makes it much much easier to encounter a female Salandit, which have a 12.5% female gender ratio like Riolu and the starter mons.

I believe leading your team with a pokemon with cute charm causes more pokemon of the opposite gender to appear. There's a strategy to evolve the free Egg Male Eevee into Sylveon since he has the ability when looking for female Salandits.
