What's the shiny rate in Pokemon Sun/Moon? In less than 2 hours I caught a shiny Zubat, and it was the 2nd Zubat I've seen. My brother caught a shiny Caterpee shortly after. Never even caught a shiny In the decade I've played Pokemon.

OP here. My actual first shiny i caught myself was a Carvanha in AS barely a week ago. No chain or charm. All these years, and POOF, there it is. My bro is pissed since Zubat is his favorite flyer, but he's happy he got a shiny butterfree now.
