The only times that we haven't had given default names for nameable characters are with

Like I said, the first default name in Japanese is クリス (Kurisu). The name "Kris" could simply be an interpretation on NoA's part of how to properly romanize it. It could just as easily be "Crys" from クリスタル (Kurisutaru; Crystal).
