Finally saw episode 2 subbed, and people are probably blowing all this SoL shit out of proportion. The Z move scene at the end was pretty great, and gives me hope for more to come. The cast seems likeable to far, but I hope Ash just takes two of them to travel with him.

I also like the friendly rivalry between Ash and Kiawe. It could lead to a good battle.
