I backed up my save with JKSM, deleted the Lurantis version of the .cia, and used ciangel to install the proper cia.

But now its saying that my save isn't compatible with this version of the game.

The bans they did were purely based on people going online before the release date, and they put a blank ban on ANYONE, even reviewer cartridges, meaning they didn't have any better way to check. (Also you can unban yourself)

Again, read the fucking OP. https://github.com/SciresM/SMPatcher/releases tells you everything about what the patch does. You just scan a code with the in-game QR reader and it plops that Pokemon into a predetermined slot and box.

nah you probably set up the whole "hatched from egg" wrong. It only counts egg moves as legal if the met tab matches a hatched egg and you put them as relearn moves

I contemplated changing the dates, but don't the dates get input from the 3ds clock...which you can change at any time? you could have a date of 9-11-2001 input on your 3ds when you start the legit game, wouldnt mean you hacked. Seems like an unnecessary step.
