Clampearl is better than two branches of evolution and Mareep straight outclasses the rest of its line and Meditite has so much wasted potential.

Looking at just visuals 5 of them are terrible (Magmorter, Rhyperior, Likiliikilililcky, Magnezone, Dusknoir), 7 are pretty much the same as their previous forms or marginally better,5 are improvements (Mamo, Frosslass, Roserade, Gliscor, Gallade[about equal to but distinct from Gardevoir so it counts]).

Togekiss gets a special mention because its better than Togetic but is still dumb as shit.

This, absolutely. I've always thought Haunter was superior to Gengar, and Gengar is incredibly disappointing.

Haunter has an extremely menacing design. Not only is it HUGE (seriously look up its dex size), but it has two disembodied hands with gnarly claws.
