Pokeball wise its a normal Pokemon. Beast balls are 1x but normal balls are as they are normally.

To get the Key Stone, go into Vast Poni Canyon and you'll battle Sina or Dexio who have a Mega Alakazam. Afterword they give you the Key Stone and an Alakazite, and i presume you can find the other mega stones in various spots.

Alolan Marowak is sadly kinda shit as its still slow as fuck and needs a Thick Club to have even decent attack. Shiinotic will likely see use competitively (especially in VGC) and fairies are always good, it also learns both Spore and Dream Eater.

You are doing it wrong. If the pile is tiny, then there isn't anything there, just berries, if the pile is big, then you'll encounter a pokemon. You don't have to soft-reset, just try checking different Berry Trees.

There are two patches of Grass between a road which have both Pichu and Grubbin. Your Rival has Pichu so after fighting him the second time you can use your Pokedex to see which patches I'm talking about. Nigger is rare so have fun searching
