Usually, the pre-orders came 3 or 4 days before the release date. So, certainly saturday or monday.

Live in Ireland also, amazon.co.uk is still slightly cheaper than any and every Irish brick-and-mortar store with convenience of having the thing delivered to the door.

They also seem to deliver a day before the release date (did so with X and possibly AS but can't remember when It arrived or the ORAS release date).
