So Cartoon Network finally decided to drop the ball with Pokémon. Good. They treated Pokémon like shit since 2012. We don't need them anymore.

I think it might be a cycle thing. Kids watch it because its on, CN assumes that means they love it so they so show TTG more, and then kids watch it more because it's on more and so on.

Granted, this is a shallow pool of data, but I work at a preschool and after-school care center and there's a solid amount of kids that like Pokemon, whereas I've never heard a kid talking about how much they like TTG.

When Pokemon and the competitors came out in the mid to late 90s, the media corporations figured out it was cheaper to license a show from Japan and stick someone in a broom closet with a microphone. It effectively killed the good animators in general. Then when Japanese corporations wised up to the potential market, they raised their cost to the point a flash animation started to become cheaper.
