I'm just getting into this Battle Tree thing and I need some help on what mons from my team to pick. Need to farm a lot of BP to get the good held items it seems.
I never really did much of the Battle Masion in XY, but I heard they are similar.
This is just the team I beat the game with odds are its not going to be optimal, but I want to make do with the best I can.
Also any general tips for Battle Tree would be greatly appreciated. I heard the AI gets harder and the game kind of starts cheating as you progress. At least in Battle Masion.

I'm really struggling to find a good set of 3 to take with me. After like the first two trainers, the game starts countering my lead mon and I end up losing a lot of momentum having to switch. Especially when there isn't a good choice to switch to.
I don't know how best to optimize sets and such. I only know bare basics competitive shit. My tree record as it stands is 9 battles.

Any particular beasts that would work the best?
Also once I pick my 3 pokemon, I can't back out and switch them right? I'm stuck with those 3?
