alright here's my update
I played the lurantis leak day it came out, never used online at all and had wifi turned off the whole time. made moon backups through jksv, deleted title and ticket through fbi and reinstalled moon through freeshop, started the game up and quit after language selection, injected my previous save sucessfully, I'm currently in CST and have been able to use online just fine.

There is too much paranoia in these threads. Nintendo cannot detect your tickets or the version you are playing, the ban wave occurred exclusively because they detected people connecting online on their servers. That's why they told reviewers not to use online.
