What is the meta going to look like? What should I be on the lookout for in team building and what are going to be the main threats? Reminder that UB's are not at all as centralizing as they look on paper thanks to shitty movepools and glass cannon stats.
What are you planning?

>What are you planning?
Starting with Pokemon I like and then implementing the good ones after the meta formed.
Kinda hyped for '17, '16 sucked hard
I'm planning some kind of Bulu-Pelipper team.
strong presence of tapus, UBs... Probably with the buff of Pelipper, Gigalith, a-Ninetales (blizzard spammer) and Torkoal, VGC17 will be a field war + weather war. I'm pretty hyped

Wait for good players to form strats and then shamelessly copy them.

add trick room to that and fast pokemon in vgc will be awkward as hell to play
pack sludge wave in preparation for fairy/tapu domination

>Tapu
>Weather setter
>Boosted attacker
>Backup in case you fuck up, but you might as well gg at this point

Koko is the only one with low defenses and they are still 70/85/70 which are definitely nowhere near glass cannon status just very average. Meanwhile the others have 70/75/115, 70/115/85 and 70/115/130 defenses, if you think that is anything short of good you have a problem.

Actually I'm thinking this VGC is just simply going to belong to anything decently strong of >100 base speed. Then maybe as the year ends we'll see a shift back to bulkier stuff, it's how VGC has always operated. Opening of the meta is all g2gfast than eventually turns into fatties speed creeping each other with minimum investment.
