There are multiple systems.

Pokerole is probably the best, as PTA and PTU are incredibly complicated, and a bookkeeping nightmare.

PTU fills that same autismal satisfaction that Pokemon does. Pokerole is for people that want narrative driven stuff and care less about the games.
