Honestly I'm torn on Gengar. I wasn't even going for a ghost theme but when I started picking them out I had 4/6 ghost types so I figured a first play through ghostmono might be fun especially in Moon version.

Part of me wants to just get Butterfree (my ace since gen I) but my autism kicked in when I put it together on this tool

My personal rules when playing a new Pokemon game are to ONLY use new Pokemon, no legendaries, and usually no starters. I pick the Pokemon solely based off of whether I like them the most

10/10 for Sudowoodo, A-Muk, Primerape, and dirt horse.
Not a fan of the starters and Fairyfly is alright but probably my least favorite bug this gen.

Yeah, I kind of just want to catch 'em all.
Don't really care about your silly little trials, primitive Alola man.

Usually, I just get the version exclusives and make a team out of that but not really feeling it this gen.
I also use in-game gift, trade, and event Pokemon but I've been told the only cool ones are Eevee and Porygon.
