1. It's the only ability it gets, so it's forced to obey Emergency Exit.
2. It ruins any chances of setting up since once it's struck down to half, it's forced out.
3. First Impression doesn't stun like Fake Out and the opponent loses nothing going to a resist since its Speed isn't even decent to afford a follow-up.

I really wish they had given Golisopod something else. Maybe something like Fearless, where it prevents the opponent from force switching it or something. It didnt have to be anything broken, and I get the argument that Emergency Exit isint 100% bad, but it still kind of sucks that you have to build its movepool around its ability instead of being able to explore possibilities.

Araquanid looks fantastic. I wish it had Sticky Web, as it would of been great for support, but I have to say im relieved its ability is actually incredible. On the one side it sucks you really can only do any damage with water moves, but at least it means you can use physical or special water moves and do some decent damage.

Im just glad we finally have some water/bugs.
