I know Necrozma is in ten carat cave, but what are the party requirements? Have those been confirmed yet (or even if there are any at all)?

So I'm trying to put together a comprehensive balltism guide for Sun and Moon and I'm not quite sure I have all the new breeding mechanics down, so I was wondering if someone with access to PKHeX could do some testing and clear up a few things for me.

I've heard reports when breeding a male and female of the same species, the offspring can inherit either parent's Poké Ball. If this is correct, it means that Pokémon found in both HGSS and gen 5 or 6, but not in SM, should be legitimately breedable with both an Apricorn Ball (or Sport/Safari Balls where applicable) and their hidden abilities, and that Alolan forms can be bred in Dream Balls. To test this, I would like someone to breed a male Weedle in a Sport Ball with a female HA Weedle in any other ball and see if any of them hatch in a Sport Ball instead of the mother's ball.

I also heard from one of the dataminers that for species with Alolan forms, the offspring will always be Alolan forms regardless of the parent's form unless at least one parent is a non-Alolan form holding an Everstone, in which case the offspring will always be the non-Alolan form, apparently regardless of which parent is Alolan and which is not. Not that I don't trust the dataminers, but I just want to be sure this is 100% accurate, because it also means we can get non-Alolan forms in Beast Balls. I need someone to breed a female Alolan Rattata in a Beast Ball with a male non-Alolan Rattata holding an Everstone and see if the offspring are indeed non-Alolan Rattata in Beast Balls.

the problem is wen u inject from other regions there is no way to check on pkhex if the pokemon is legit or not. And usually on pkhex it wont allow you to continue unless you have a legit mon. So because of this you can just throw on literally any mutated hackmon in the game and the game cant tell if its legit or not. So even if the balls do transfer using those mons we wont know if that changes or if its the same once bank is out.

Couple of questions regarding QR scan

1) can you recharge it any quicker? 2 hours per scan seems a little excessive

2) saving and resetting doesn't seem to change the island scan result — what determines this? Number of steps? Time of scan?

Any pointers would be appreciated — my first scan was a totodile, but I knew I wouldn't reach it in time so reset and scanned later after unlocking more of the island. I scanned again when I was ready, but this time it was a different mon. Since then the same mons appear each time I try to reset a scan so it would be great to know any hidden intricacies people have figured out already.

Anybody hunting for zygarde cells find any in some super out the way obscure spots? One from me is the observatory left hallway.

People should work together to make a list. If the encouter table has a drastic change, it should count as a new route. Example: Route 1 has regular encounters, pichu/grubbin encounter spots, and then post-rocksmash spots. The first two and the third should be separate at least.

I'm playing Moon on Citra and defeated the champion, got the "congrats you won!" dialog and when the screen fades to black, nothing happens. I waited and pressed all sorts of buttons, but I guess it's some sort of cutscene that Citra can't handle.

Just to add on, you can save in front if rippling water and reset whenever you pull shitmons or items to try again. It made fishing for Dratini, Dragonair and Dhelmise way more bearable since ripples give 10% to the rare spawns.

It's not bad when it's a wild battle, but doubles, Battle Royal, and Totem battles drop frames like a hot taco, especially Battle Royal, where you have 4 Pokemon + 4 trainers including you in the frame while selecting moves. It goes sub 10 I think.
