It will evolve into Alolan Raichu. The only way to get a non-Alolan variant is to transfer it.

We don't technically know yet I don't think, but I'd imagine it'd evolve into an Alolan Raichu. You could transfer a regular Raichu to the game though and it'd stay a regular Raichu.

This, i dont understand how people keep mixing this up. Alola, the region itself, changes the pokemon. That's the only reason they are different.

I saw something on a thread (yesterday?) that showed a Pikachu whose location was "The Kalos Region" and it still evolve into an Alolan Raichu.
It doesn't have to be caught.

I think it's because people naturally assume it's like real life evolution and therefore a genetic change.
