See using Battle Tree as sort of a test since I haven't tried it online yet(waiting for official release) I've learned that my dumb idea on splitting HP/Sp.Def Evs and going max Attack EVs allows him to survive by just enough to one shot anyone who attacks him. Both special and fire-types. I've lost twice using this strat there, once to a Nasty Plotted-baton pass to a Salazzle and once to Red who aura sphere'd it with a Mega Blastoise(Bewear was too slow to one shot it).

Of course this is just Battle Tree and not actual people so I don't know if my Bulk Up strat is smart, but Bulk Up+Leftovers allows to prepare Bewear for a huge sweep. If I had enough patience to breed another Bewear I'd try a 252 attk/252 speed with a weakness policy and bulk up set up.
