I think it's cooler in the stratosphere due to having a unique high altitude habitat. Plus large filter feeders are cool. Then again, all of the interpretations seem pretty great.

When dropped below 50% HP, its base stats change from [60 60 100 60 100 60] to [60 100 60 100 60 120]. It gets Shell Smash and is Flying/Rock with access to Acrobatics, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Stealth Rock and U-Turn.

It's found in Mount Hokulani. Not sure if there's anything more to say. You can find it in many colors.

Yes, it always starts without the shell dispite the dex implying otherwise. Once it gets sent out the ability activates. If you switch it in to something it takes the hit in core form stats which is kinda ass. Good lead mon and fun to use in general though. Online is going to be flooded with White Herb SS ones.

Think through what happens in an actual battle against a player, will you? The highest it can reach is RU because it REQUIRES cooperation from your enemy to work. They can just set up in your face when your Minior is out and unbroken, and 60/100/100 defenses are not enough against powerful supereffective attackers anyway. You have to come in on an attack otherwise they aren't going to willingly put you into the Shields Down range on their own, and then you don't get your setup.
