Garchomp is too slow and has no recovery. And again no Levitate for free switches.

I'm not saying Flygon is the best choice, but it now has merits over the other two.

if the point is that flygon got dragon dance and is now good then you aren't using defog on a dragon dance set. so why even bring that up in reply to that point? flygon also 1) isn't bulky enough to make use of a roost DD set and 2) needs to give up coverage for that move if you do which means it's never breaking pokemon like skarmory.

zygarde can spam thousand arrows without a care after setting up. flygon is much worse than it and won't be used.

Defog is by far Flygon's best set, and there's no other pokemon that can do it like him because of the SR resist and Levitate. This is a fact.

If you really really want to use Flygon as a DDer then be my guest, but he's outclassed in that role even in the lower tiers.

Kommo-o also learns Dragon Dance and gets like 75/125/105 defenses to setup with but I don't see that making it amazing.

I mean it's not that big. All it does is make Flygon a bit more unpredictable, as it could be scarfed, banded, or life orbed. That could allow more opportunities to set it depending on how you bluff it.

It's still revenge killed easily. I can see this set possibly working as both a bluff and a potential sweeper. It's still no-match for stuff that hit the ground running, so still lacking in power.
