Yeah, the problem is getting the shops to their 'max level' and everything is so fucking expensive as well. Like yeah if you had infinite coins it would be really easy, but farming them is shit

PKHeX. I'm not jumping through GameFreak's bullshit hoops of bottle caps and festival coins just to pull this shit off. There's no reason they couldn't put horde encounters in these fucking games, either - it'd be the same amount of models on screen as a multi-battle (or less, if you include a fourth trainer and are doing a proper 2v2 multi-battle).

I only enjoyed Horde Battles out of necessity. It felt more like a googlesearched+grind more than a real bonding experience.
Hopefully the new system is more lively and interactive instead of being systematic grinding.
