Someone mentioned Zygarde so I took a look and found some interesting similarities. For example Zygarde's chest could fit into the upside down dragon head like a helmet and the weird colors on its face are very similar the ones in the mouth of zygarde's chest.

Beast Balls work on normal Pokemon, and normal balls work on UBs, though not very well because Beast Balls are made specifically for UBs to be easier to catch. Theory is that since Necrozma and the Cosmog line have been in our deminsion for so long, time has had them change to be more like normal Pokemon, and less like UBs

About why I was led to rainbows and light, well when we didn't have the games' official titles yet, they were known with the codename "Pokemon Niji" (translator's note: niji means rainbow) and Hawaii itself (Alola's inspiration) is also known as the "Rainbow State". In general, these games are all about rainbows and light.

Furthermore, someone posted this image in a thread the other day and I believe Necrozma fits with the alchemist looking at a mirror in the middle, who also looks at himself as an equal to God (http://azothalchemy.org/azoth_ritual.htm).

I don't want to put much of my faith into GameFreak's hands, because they have dissapointed me before, but maybe these games really are a setup for a sequel/update/whatever. The four major players are in Alola right now (Solgaleo/Lunala/Zygarde/Necrozma). Why else would Zygarde be in Alola and yet it does fuckall? Even Dexio/Sina wonder about this. There's even a copypasted Terminus Cave in Resolution Cave's heart.

It's more than that, despite having 708 BST, it got lackluster offenses and speed. Only the fucking HP stat got a significant boost and it just plain simply lacks an ability. It all would be better if the Complete form was changeable at will. Garchomp is used often, the weakness both these guys got doesn't stop them, but Zygarde lacking the stats and ability to do the shit it wants to is bad. In the first post I wrote about Necrozma being the alchemist himself, but I realized it didn't make that much sense. Then I came up with the Necrozma=mirror idea and added that in my second post.

Anyway, what I'm currently looking at now is if the Ultra Beasts fit anywhere in the AZoth Ritual. Maybe they are the "The 7 Operations of Alchemy" represented with the 7 circles around the alchemist's head. They are 7 too, so it could fit. The difficult part however is figuring out which one of the 7 operations each UB represents.
