I don't have an opinion on which ones have the best exclusives, because I generally pick each gen based on one or two exclusives I actually like.

For example, I liked skarmory as a kid so I asked for Silver. I only have Gold circled because I played it much later.

Having played every version but Alpha Sapphire not yet having played Sun and Moon, and ignoring third versions

I've gotten used to buying all the games in each generation, but now I've become poor thanks to having to pay my student loans off. Can't afford both, so I'm going with the one that'll be day while I'm playing it.
