On every sea route in sun and moon there is one spot in the dumps where the chance to meet one pokemon is way higher then on the other rod spots. Does anyone know where or what these spots are?
I also wanna know on which field you can find bagon on route 3.

The Mareanie one is pretty obvious, it's the closest rock formation to where the lady tells you about them. Try it.

I thought so too, but after > 20 encounters, i got many magikarps, no luvdisc and no corsola...

Here are the dumps from Seaward Cave. There are 2 Spots in the dump, but you can use the rod only on one spot. Does anyone know how you can activate the second table?

Slot 2 (Levels 10-15): Gyarados (99%), Whiscash (1%),
Slot 3 (Levels 10-15): Gyarados (99%), Whiscash (1%),
Slot 4 (Levels 10-15): Gyarados (99%), Whiscash (1%),
Slot 5 (Levels 10-15): Gyarados (99%), Whiscash (1%),

Slot 7 (Levels 10-15): Magikarp (99%), Barboach (1%),
Slot 8 (Levels 10-15): Magikarp (99%), Barboach (1%),
Slot 9 (Levels 10-15):

Try looking for rippling waters, i found a Corsola that called a Mareanie that way after fishing for almost an hour. As for Bagon i think they have higher encounter rate on the grass patches in Kala'e Bay.

Rippling water.

Thank you! One last question: Appears the rippling water on the rod spots or in the normal water?
>>
>>29917363
On the rocks that you can normally fish on.
Just swim around melemele sea until you find one.
>>
>>29917363
Rod spots. As you can also see in the encounter tables, there aren't encounters for surfing pokemon with increased rates.

I think I'm understanding your question.

Amigo, the pokedex shows where the higher chance is already.
In the map, the spots with higher chances shine brighter.
For example, Mareanie has two spots which shine slighly brighter, the two spots that have increased chance.
