Question- Are the Z moves good and can help shitmons being better?

Some of them are; yes they can.
Well not worth creating a new thread and this one seems close enough.
Can you z-move and mega in the same match?

A lot of interesting stuff can be done especially with weaker mons that may get powerful moves (Explosion, etc)

Here is a list of effects for Status Z moves. Not entirely sure if the effect happens before or after the moves or are unique to each move.
Noteworthy are Splash which gives +3 Attack as well as Mirror Move which gives +2 Attack and the mirrored opponent's move becomes a Z move.

As far as I know yes but you still need either item to do either, can't do both. Rayquaza can't do both as the UI shares the same location for Mega Evo and Z Move.
Since all pokemon get them it does not help weak mons in any way, they are still as outclassed as ever

Thank you!
If i use moves that already have effects like z-sword dance or z-sunny day would there normal effects take place alongside the z-move?
>>29901545
Ok, but does that meanPokemon uses actual attack AND gets boost?
It would make sense for Destiny bond for example.

In the case of status moves it does the regular move + extra effect listed.
Regular attacks become attacking Z-moves of varying power (stronger base = stronger Z). I don't have a list of existing damaging Z-moves.

Woah that sounds neat and I can't wait to make neat strategies with Buffed bulkup or cosmic power
