I'm still wondering if I should buy Sun at all.
I'm starting to think this is becoming a franchise where only the older games are worth playing.

5th gen was the best gen (in my opinion), and 6 was... okay... SM look as good as RSE were like back then. Granted there's quite a few people who think Pokemon was dead then and RSE sucked balls.

I plan on waiting to see how the Switch goes. Probably not a Day 1 purchase, but soon after. If there's Pokemon and Skyrim for it, I will do it

I'd stick with the 3DS since I already have it.

I'll probably stop playing Pokemon after this gen because I don't want to spend the bones on a Switch, and it's looking like it's going to replace the handhelds.

You do know that one of the major things chip manufacturers have been working on for the past couple of years is thermal right? Temperatures most likely won't be a problem. Hell, even if it is it won't matter much since the parts you'll be holding are cold plastic controllers slotted onto the sides.
