Why are they called Ultra Balls in every language version of

Because Ultra Ball is already taken in English. No idea why they didn't go with the Super and Hyper motif like everyone else.

He wasn't allowed to touch anything that was in all caps in Gens 1/2. So NPC names, Pokemon names, location names and item names were localized by somebody else. That somebody else is a fucking idiot who mistranslated a bunch of shit and Nob was never given a chance to fix it.

I don't get why the English version hasn't fixed it's translation over time like other versions. The Spanish and other versions version have made a lot of adjustements over time to adapt to new games, I bet they renamed the Ultra Bola to Hiper Bola to make space for this new type of ball. Wouldn't be surprised if they didn't (hope someone can confirm).
