>New areas to explore like 1/4 of the Fourth Island, the Tapu Temples and the other game's world

>Catching all the Ultra Beasts, the Tapus and Necrozma
>Zygarde sidequest to collect all 100 cells and 5 cores across Alola
>Looker sidequest with a well written story involving the Fallers
>E4 rematches and Champion Challengers have higher levels in SM unlike XY where their levels stay the same

Meanwhile all XY had for a postgame is the Battle Maison in Kiloude.
