How? XY didn't and it was shit, SM is a lot better than that game.

The games are good — there are some problems with it lagging during Totem and Battle Royal matches, but other than this from what I've played so far they are worth buying.

People were lukewarm about XY. After the 3d coat of paint wore off, everyone cited how easy and empty the world was. The reason it's not outright disliked is because of shiny hunting and wonder trade. I'm not sure if sm have those but if they do, probably the same reception, though more disappointment with how much more hyped up these games are.

I don't even know what it is the point of this fucking board. It's like nobody here actually likes Pokémon. All they do is complain about every little thing Game Freak does. Criticism is acceptable but it has to be civil and not just meme spouting hurr durr shit posting. This place is a hive mind of perpetual negativity. Once the games are out I'm avoiding this place like the plague.
