Slowpoke will be available fairly early so I'm going to do a mono-Psychic run. I bet Lele is postgame though which is a shame.

You can do an even better ghost playthrough because of the island scan mechanic to get Litwick and Honedge. Too bad Dhelmise is lategame though.

Shaping up well

Interestingly, Monotype is probably the only thing Araquanid can be almost half-decent at. With Water Bubble, it's the only Bug that can resist the one of type's shared weaknesses. With Water Absorb, it's one of the few Bugs with an immunity besides Ground/Poison (I think the only others are Parasect, Nincada, Shedinja, and Wormadam-S).

Fellow monobug fag here. it's too bad there's only 4 new bugs, but this still looks like a pretty good run for bugs.

I've done monobug for every game, and gen 3 was the hardest/worst.
