But I gotta disagree that powersaves is better in any way than this. You can also give yourself 999 items of everything as well as pokedex with 1-2 clicks. Cloning aswell (hold ctrl + alt and click any slot in the box)

There's a bunch of "hidden" shortcuts that make your life a whole fucking lot easier (check options->about pkhex -> shortcuts)

Also that sweet ntr debugger injection if you are on a n3ds

-pokeball (if special mon)
-ability
-moves (if you have illegal moves it's a no-go)
-how it was met (egg/event obviously not needed for most mons. but one valid way to get breedable mons)

A few of the mons that I've caught say illegitimate locations before I even edit them. One of the mons I got from a trade from the pokemon center gave me an illegitimate encounter.

When I try to edit freshly hatched ones, it says illegitimate location on where they hatched too for some reason.

Do you mean in game or in editor? if in editor rename it to PKHaX for one because fuck normal mode. also if it says illegal in editor just ignore it if it still works in game. Also make sure you have a newly compiled pkhex.

If you mean in game problems trading though I'm not particularly sure why that'd be, I had issues at first with silvally but that's due to pkhex for whatever reason removing the met location for the clone(s) so I just had to put it back.
