There's no comfortable way to get eggs to show up. The area in front of the day care center is tiny and can barely accommodate the mount pokemon, so you end up doing very tight loops while straining your eyes to see if the lady crosses her arms off in the corner. On top of that, needing both hands on the console to sprint/charge when running around makes hatching even more annoying.

Overall it's a huge step down, which is sad because they did so well with it in ORAS. I did so much breeding there because they did a good job in making it comfy. I've only been doing this an hour and I already want to gouge my eyes out.

I beat the game in 25 hours. Usually it's 15-20 in the other games.
Post game is more Looker stories and finding out you could have visited captain's homes and battled them when they would have still been a challenge. I'm still finding little side things here and there but nothing substantial outside of the battle tree and title defense.
Trials are doing things that make regular pokemon appear 3 times then taking on a totem pokemon. A few are effectively straight lines, others are quizzes, and one involves searching. The more involved ones are teaching a new mechanic.
I liked the story and having all the captains and Kahunas be an actual character in the world really helped.

If you're autismo like me, a good thing to do would be chaining them until you get a snow warning one and then levelling it to 42 for Blizzard before evolving it.
