Probably one of the fastest non legendary Pokemon in game so I'm thinking OU.

I think hes going to end up pretty solid but in no expert

Mimikyu is special because it gets a free turn to do whatever it wants, so it can function as an anti-sweeper by tanking a hit and crippling it with t-wave or killing it because it's attack stat is decent, it can set up to sweep itself. Even better is it's two type immunities giving it better switch in opportunities than most mons that want to set up.

however it's stats are still a bit on the low side and doesn't hit very hard without boosts and doesn't have the bulk to function as a full on utility tank

I don't really do smogon games very much, but I can see this thing easily having a lot of use in VGC. It's a safe switch-in, it's at a reasonably high speed tier (especially in the limited pokedex setting) and it also has access to incrediblly versatile support moves (namely thunderwave, toxic, and trick room). Ghost/Fairy typing is also a pretty alright typing, making it immune to fake out, which can synergize really well with trick room (forces your opponent to have to attack it twice if they want to prevent trickroom from going up).

Overall i'd give it maybe like i dunno 6/10 with room for improvement
