I used to use Durant with DD/Sub/Protect/Dragon Claw Dragonite in Gen 5 and it worked 99% of the time

of course Gen 6 fucked it up by introducing Fairy type and the AI got too smart.

Entrainment Truant onto the foe, then use a mon with protect and a boosting move to activate sweeps. The sweeper usually has arena trap or shadow tag

They start sending opponents with typings that specifically resist your mons attacks, and if you're super unlucky, they send out a Pokemom with the dreaded Protect to block attempts at Entrainment.

I stopped using this strategy and started using TrickScarf mons + Mons that lower attack while setting up like Mega Salamence and Aegislash.
