one adrenaline orb per battle I think, if you try to use two it doesn't work.
Just keep fainting one of the two, wait til the other calls for help, faint one, repeat until a shiny pops up.

I've spent hours shiny hunting with various methods and gotten several shinies. Today, after thousands of hours of pokemon, I found my first completely random wild shiny. Feels good.

Finally got a shiny Sentret, I wanted it since GS and finally, after hours upon hours of pokedex hunting, wondertrading and breedin in ORAS, I got one with Masuda's method. With only 30 eggs, great stuff. And the best feeling is I did it without cheating, all with researching and hard work.
Sadly, it is 4 IVs only but, frankly, I don't give two shits, this little bad boy will be my mascot forever.

So I've been hunting for a shiny Ninetails for quite a while now, the method i'm using is friend safari, which has a Growlithe, Slugma and Ninetails. Well, while looking for the Ninetails, I've found 2 Shiny Slugma (1 is now a Magcargo) and 2 Shiny Growlith (Still need to evolve it) but no Shiny Ninetails. Not that i'm complaining but, I hope I can finally find that Ninetails!

I've got this little bastard last night. Long story:

I was doing a hunt for a shiny Honedge since almost two weeks ago and decided to take a rest after 800 egg hatches without success. Also, I was completing the National Dex and I noticed that I haven't obtained a Venonat, so I left my Venomoth along with Ditto in daycare to breed one. But Ditto wanted to breed a shiny mon at the worst moment and pic related appeared.

When it happened I didn't knew if I was laughing or crying. It's strange, I should be happy now since this is my second legitimate shiny ever but at the same time I feel very disappointed because it wasn't the shiny that I was expecting at all. But yeah I'll keep hunting that shiny Honedge anyway. That motherfucker needs to be mine!

Every summon has an increasing chance at being shiny + High IV. Dataminers confirmed and an npc tells you that if you want shinies you should try doing it with Adrenaline Orbs. It's also how you get hidden abilities.

So, let's say I want to chain for a shiny Mareanie at first convenience, for use on my in-game team. Am I getting these steps right?

Guess I'll just do that. I maxed out Aplenny, too, so I should get a fair amount of Leppa berries, even if I only planted 9. You get 8 per tree at level 2, so I assume you get 12 at level 3.

If you want a Feebas, fish under the bridge near the Weather Institute. You can't use a Synch with Suction Cups, but because of the gigantic shiny rate and the fact that only Feebas is under there, it's a guarantee after long enough. I got two shinies there in less than an hour
