I have 3 3DS. One was lost in a move, one a replacement for that one, and an impulse buy of a special edition 3DS. Found the one I thought I lost.

Original 3DS - Firmware from 2014
Pikachu 3DS - I don't want to hack or home brew. Not the latest firmware though. Probably a year old.
N3DS - Current firmware

I really don't give a flying fuck about the original 3DS. Would that be the best system to do the homebrew on? I can currently still inject via QR on it for XYORAS but I want to be able to inject for SM via save editing. Do you think I will be forced to update that system to even play SM?

Also have a powersaves if it makes any difference.
