Its a mix between gen 5 and 6
Key item as in gen 6 but the experience is shared with the gen 5 system

does anyone fint the use of exp share completely game-breaking?

Having it turned on (and maybe brushing and playing with some of your pokemon) make them so fucking overleveled.

Just gaining exp from captured pokemon and not otherwise grinding (fleeing from wild encounters with already captured pokemon) and trainers seems too much

I find it a lot less broken than the previous gen. The most overleveled I was was like by 2-3 levels, and boss battles still fucked me up a little bit.
But I imagine that if you decide to grind or capture every single pokemon before moving to the next area you will be overleveled inmediately

I've reduced with pkhex my main two mon for two times and already i'm 6 level over the enemies.

Just beat salazzle in the volcano. Had to use a pokemon in the squad i've never used because it was "just" ground and L.22 against my other two mons that were L.26.

really, if you want to enjoy actually catching pokemon, don't use exp share or the game will become shit
