seriously....what the hell do you give alolan muk since we don't have access to egg moves? I really want to raise one because I like his typing, but, damn...he literally learns...nothing.
the only thing I can come up with is;
crunch
poison jab (TM84)
disable
screech?
I don't want gunk shot because it only has 5 pp and its accuracy is questionable....its really sad when you have to rely on TM's to give a pokemon moves.

you dont get it, it NEEDS gunk shot, it's a strong STAB move, just teach it to it already
>>29859943
What do you mean we don't have access to egg moves? I remember seeing that he got pursuit.
>>29859978
Gunk shot only has a 30% chance to poison. Poison jab + poison touch = 60% chance to poison, which is worth the lower BP.

I mean the egg moves that matter like shadow sneak and shadow punch. he can only get those moves from pokemon that are not in the alola region.

on top of low accuracy, I'm not a fan of low pp moves when raising pokemon in-game because i'll run out of PP trudging through some cave or long stream of multiple trainers and i'd certainly run out of PP while in the E4. Worst case scenario, i'll just keep poison jab AND gunk shot.

Isn't mimikyu in the amorphous egg group? And I know for a fact that thing gets shadow sneak, so it should be able to pass it down to a grimer. Not sure about pursuit, though. Also, I'm almost positive this thing gets knock off in some way.

If you don't mind using items, pp restoring berries are easy to raise
>>29860416
Yep, knock-off by level up
>>29860104
Poison is shit, direct damage is good.

This exactly
Is it like regular Muk where it's a physical attacker that only learns 3 physical attacking moves by leveling up? I used the purple spunk pile in OR and it pissed me off so badly.
When does this thing evolve?
