I miss the pre-gen 5 hype.
I've been with the series from the very beginning and the gen 5 excitement was my favorite. They're still my favorite games despite how much everyone seems to hate them.

It's not just that. Gen 5 really just lived up to all of my expectations. I just thought they were really solid games mechanically. They added a ton of new Pokemon. Nothing about them really disappointed me except Alder's battle theme and the lack of a PokeRadar
