The gyms were too strong before, it wasn't worth taking them down because it was just as easy to build them back up

They should have either made it harder to build up or easier to take down, not both. Now we have the exact same situation on the opposite side, as it's pointless to train up gyms

I'd just make gyms easy to take down and easy to train rather than hard and hard, it makes it more enjoyable (it's a casual game after all, hard is bad for it)
It means gyms don't stagnate like they did before, and also the place isn't a fucking mad free for all like it is right now

Gyms being easier to take down means more people get to put mons in gyms, which means more people can get to claim coins for the day. As a consequence, it's mainly the elite trainers who could claim and defend those gyms the ones who lose the most. Plus it becomes easier to kick spoofers out.

Depends on the area. If the PoGo scene isn't too big and gyms are more clustered together you can get lucky and snatch 20-30 coins. If you can do that daily, the improvement is huge. But what you said is more likely day by day for most people.

Ditto spawns as uncommon. At the end you get to use a Ditto to copy your Leader's legend birb. Legend birbs copied in this way have the same set of IVs, moves, and starting CP. Players can only select one birb as part of a team.

Don't know if they could or would do that last part, but it'd make a certain amount of sense.

Haven't seen many comments referencing this, because these findings seem pretty significant. Some stuff I found to be important:

This is a HUGE benefit, my previous assumption was that the bonus was around 1.1 so I'll make sure to spin the ball an extra second for important encounters since some times I've noticed the game doesn't recognise it despite visible sparkles.

>Catch multiplier from throws is 2 - r
>" r = radius of the colored target ring (from 1 to 0, with r = 1 when target ring is same size as the white ring). That means the Throw bonus ranges from 1 to 2, as the size of target ring decrease in size."

So basically Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws only determine how much exp you get, the actual catch rate depends on the radius. I've always tried to find the golden spot where it goes from Nice to Great, but it seems like I need to focus more on how small I can make the radius while also landing in it consistently.

Good to have it "confirmed." (only within quotation marks since it's based on empirical data, and not from datamining.)

Not much, claimed 6 gyms this morning, no snowfall this time but the temperature has fallen low enough to make my cheeks ache after some time. I've held up well by breathing out in my collar to keep my lips and chin warm, we'll see if I actually need to tie a second scarf around my face of I can build up some endurance for it. Could also see if I can find myself a mitten for my lefthand while my right has a touchscreen glove, tend to work fine as long as I keep the right one in the pocket when there's no Pokemon/pokestop/gym about, but I was on the verge of freezing them off this morning.

I guess it really boils down to how many gyms I want to take in one walk, 5-6 is what I usually aim for but I can go as low as 2-3 just to keep the routine going.

Smeargle has two moves when you catch it, quick attack Sketch and charge move Sketch.

Quick attack Sketch copies the foe's quick move permanently when you tap. Charge move Sketch copies the foe's charge move when you have enough energy and hold down.

I'm having kind of a weird bug. My Pokedex shows silhouettes of Kangaskhan and Farfetch'd, and it says that I have 'seen' them once. However, I'm from EU and I've never even seen one of these. Wing Attack with STAB is decent DPS. Not the best but pretty good for cannon fodder and when you need something non-specific to whack something a lot while screen mashing. Some people use Pidgeots against treemens but I think that's silly.

Yeah, my best stop farming route is 7 stops every 6 minutes so that's about 210 items an hour (assuming only 3, and no 6+ item bursts which happen infrequently anyway).

But I have to keep catching Pokemon for dust farming while walking the cycle, and I throw away potions because I don't live next to a stop and the balls have to last me for the night or three. So it comes down to about 120-150 items an hour if I'm lucky, and I have a backpack capacity of 450 right now (going to hit 500 and go back to hoarding for eggs). Every restocking run is going to take me anywhere between 3-5 hours and it really sucks since it's getting colder and colder and sunset is now at like 5pm so I can't just go out to restock at like 2-3 pm and expect to get back home before sunset.

Day 129

A Victreebel spawned at my house, but it was CP 306. I caught it anyway, and it knew Razor Leaf and Solar Beam. I went to my local Omanyte nest and caught enough for a third and fourth Omastar.

I still do not have a Chansey.

I reached level 29 and now i'm at the point where powering up gives half as much power. whats the point, it's 5 snorlax candy for a lowly 22 cp power up. i guess this is where it caps out
