I haven't played sun or moon yet myself, I'm waiting to save up to buy it for real. I think I'm most excited about how comfy it seems, and I'd like to get a mimikyu to train up. Does anyone else have stories based on their trainers? I do that, it's a little goofy I know.

Trips! cool.
I like celebi, one day I'd like to own an event one in-game. It was my favourite as a kid.

Sun and Moon looks comfy but i fear that it will feel kinda disconnected with the region split it 4 separate areas, no national dex and that postgame stuff and whatnot. Hopefully I'm wrong and the ending is fufilling and comfy

I see where you're coming from, honestly other anons negativity has worried me a little too... but lets think of it this way.

Do you not think that sense of adventure will be improved from the different islands? Imagine your team, fresh and new, coming off their first trial to take a lapras ride to the next island, you're all weary, but excited for the next task.

Imagine soaring, ever stronger, to the third island! Imagine the wind in your hair as you touch down, and your pokemon nod excitedly, ready to take on the challenge.


As for the no national dex, I sort of like it, for now at least. It means you can focus on in depth exploration of the new land instead of worrying about past games, and hey, postgame is as fun as you yourself make it! You can wittle hours away doing your own adventures, a strong trainer now ready to take on the ultrabeasts.

Well, for starters, I don't have a goddamn clue how to so much as start. Some other anon gave me a torrent with Citra and a Moon ROM, but the torrent decided to stop working at 49% downloaded and won't connect to peers any more. I think it might be the fact that I'm on college internet, but IDK.
