I dont know that thats a great comparison, belly drum is ALL IN, splash is just slightly more in than sd+life orb. If splash was 4 stages then sure, but I dont think the risk/reward does it for me.

Would bulk up leftovers mimikyu not totally suck? Its defense seemed ok and the typing is cool.

I don't think this is as viable as people are hyping it up to be. One good resist/phaze and you're stuck with a worthless move and no item slot for the rest of the game.

Ability: Disguise
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Swords Dance
-Shadow Sneak
-Play Rough
-Leech Life

My idea is use SD on your free turn and sweep with shadow sneak and play rough. SS has priority and having a base 96 speed I think mimikyu will be able to outspeed a fair share of things, also being both physical STAB moves help. Leech life is just coverage and maybe get a bit of health back.

While wood hammer is nice I don't think anything it would counter can't already be dealt with with SS/PR and then adding recoil makes it more situational. Leech life is just the better option.
