Z moves

What would be the purpose of locking megas until after the main story? That's kind of lame, I personally don't use them but the option is nice.

So you can't breeze through the game even more by using a Mega.

Since there's no new megas, it'd put too much focus on Gen 6 over what's new in Gen 7.

Like Gen VI, only special trainers like the Kahunas, Elite Four, the Champion, and Hau. It was a missed opportunity that they bring back Red and Blue and neither of their Pokémon can Mega Evolve or use a Z-Move. Only Red's Pikachu holds an item is Light Ball
