i have grown indifferent to GF fucking up by now, after 20 years and 7 generations of them just making potentially-good-yet-bad-mons all my hope is that by gen 8 or 9 this guy will actually get good, abilities and better moveset.

Contrary would be nice because it can't be switched in on with Intimidate, can switch in on a predicted Intimidate, and Sticky Web boosts it.

But then it hits you:

>Scarfed Lando-T just U-Turns out into a resist and it's got a shit movepool to cover for that situation
>All the other common Intimidate users will near-kill it or kill it, like Arcanine, and it doesn't have the attack or speed to hit them back
>Has no fucking moves to fuck up Bugs or really any of the common Sticky Web setters or even Defoggers

I wish they had given it Chlorophyll and done something like make Solar Blade a dual type Fire/Grass move i.e. Flying Press, and given this thing Close Combat or something like how Tsareena gets HJK.

As of now it's basically a shit Lilligant. Lilligant is this mon but Special, with access to one of the best boosting moves in the game, and Sleep Powder.

Fucking LEAF GUARD? That would be acceptable if it had like 130 attack or 105 base speed or something, but it doesn't.
