In having 95 in every stat, it's BST reaches 570, which is exactly the BST of every regular UB (aka not Cosmog/Cosmoem/Solgaleo/Lunala/Necrozma), and Silvally was created to destroy UBs.

yes, but 95 all around can't really take on the ultra beasts better than another mon with super effective natural STAB and more specialized stats could.

My point is that if they intended it as an UB-killer lorewise they could have given it a BST higher than theirs. I mean it wouldn't be the first time a human experiment creates a mon with stats of 600 (genesect) or higher (mewtwo)

Don't worry, 95 in each stat makes it a jack of all trades deal, and it seems to have a good mix of moves. Just doesn't excel at anything.

Type: null was a failed experiment yes, but silvally is something that exists solely by its bond with gladion, as it evolves by friendship (and key word evolves, doesn't just change forms, which would be the logical thing as the only change is the helmet being removed).

It was a great opportunity to make sylvally reach 600 BST and turn into the real UB killer aether tried to create, ironically because gladion gave it what aether never did: friendship, love, etc.

Instead they just boosted its speed. Don't get me wrong I still think its stats are very good specially with RKS system, but I see a bit of wasted potential story and lore wise.
