What exactly does his ability do? What colors does he come in?

Reverse Shell Smash at half HP

Goes from defense to attack mode. Comes in blue, green, orange, pink, yellow (?) And black. Does have a good move set, could become a good sweeper.

So, when its shell is on, it has more defensive stats, and it has immunity to status conditions, too. When its HP goes below half, its shell breaks, and its stats change to be more fast and offensive.

It comes in pink, orange, yellow, blue, purple, green, all shinies are black, and probably one or two more I am unaware of.

It DOES learn some good moves. In fact, a set with Shell Smash, White Herb, and Acrobatics could definitely have potential.

It's weak to two of the more prominent priority moves in OU, let alone across all tiers.

It has potential to be a good late-game cleaner in RU, but I can see it still being "usable" in the tiers above.

Flying resists Fighting. It takes neutral damage from Mach Punch because of Rock typing.
It also resists E-Speed
Problem here is Accelerock and Aqua Jet desu

This pokemon's stats are absurdly good when you consider its ability.

Its defensive stats are high when you need to tank a hit, then its speed and offense is high when you can use it. Only really think that messes that up is low HP.

I mean yeah, that's obvious, but in another sense you almost have to think of it having an effectively higher BST than other pokemon. It's the sort of thing that made Aegislash so strong, but in a more straightforward balanced way they kept cowing away from doing with Zen Mode and Defeatist where it happens in reverse and is pretty unhelpful.

So you have Shell Smash on this guy to make full use of a turn, with stuff like Stone Edge, Acrobatics and Earthquake for decent coverage.

Only downside is it has high Special Attack that basically goes un-used because its special move pool is so underwhelming, but whatever.

It makes a really great replacement for the Dance Birbs since their movepool is shockingly bad.

Obviously not too good on this guy since White Herb Shell Smash + Acrobatics is what makes it interesting, but it does help other physical sweepers.

Priority's a pretty big counter then.

I guess it's a better pick for a Psychic Terrain team, though it's still weak to Steel and doesn't hit Dark for SE damage so not really a great combo.

I can also see Calm Mind or Special Shell Smash being an alternate set. The downside being its Special STAB has lower BP than its Physical, but they are also more reliably accurate, so it would have to rely on the rest of its team wearing down the enemy enough to get a sweep off.

You need to think of Psychic Terrain's effect on the meta as a whole. If Topu Lele is popular, we'll probably see less priority overall. If nothing else, we probably won't be living in Priority: The Meta anymore.
